Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR International principal Edward C. Wabick and SVP William J. Kerrins represented the Chicago-based REIT as well as Olympic Oil. They negotiated the sale with Colliers, Bennett & Kahnweiler principal David A. Bercu and VP James F. Pater, who represented Metropolitan Life.
The remaining 140,000 sf is available for lease.
"Olympic Oil needed to relocate to accommodate additional business," Wabick says. "We found this facility for our client to lease, but the owner wanted to sell. We brought in First Industrial Realty Trust to solve our tenant's timing and long-term space issues. This transaction represents our firm's initiative to fulfilling the needs of our clients."
