The buyer has already leased the entire structure, which sits on a 13.5-acre site, to Couch Braunsdorf Insurance Cos. The latter, an independent agency offering commercial, personal, title and life insurance, is moving its headquarters here from Westfield, NJ.
The one-story building is the former world headquarters of CSI Inc., a data warehousing company now based in East Hanover, NJ. Before that, the property was the main office for Ingersoll-Rand's Tool Hoist Division.
Colliers Houston and GM Realty Advisors have also gotten the assignment to find someone to fill Couch Braunsdorf's former headquarters in Westfield. The three-story downtown property, which combines offices and retail, is currently available for lease or sale, according to Kurzweil.
