John F. Hennessey, principal and Richard M. Robinson, both of GVA Thompson Doyle Hennessey & Stevens represented Holcim in the transaction.

The deal represents a relocation for Holcim which is moving its corporate staff to the area from Dundee, MI. The company says it chose to resettle in the Greater Boston area because of the proximity to a highly educated work force as well as the easy access it provides to Europe and the global community.

The corporate center, a 300,000 sf, six-story, office building owned by Boston Properties, is located at the intersection of Routes 128 and 20. It features large open floor plates, a cafeteria, a recently expanded fitness facility and a shared conference center for use by tenants. Current tenants in the building include Microsoft, Netegrity, Oasis Semiconductor and Principal Financial.
