Construction recently began on the build-to-suit facility, which will be constructed by Opus Northwest, LLC at the northwest corner of County Road 92 and 69th Avenue, just north of Highway 55 in town, which is about 14 miles west of Interstate 494. The building will be part of Greenfield Business Park, a new business park being developed by Opus that has space for additional build-to-suit projects.

Archway expects to move its existing consumer fulfillment administration and operations presently based in Maple Plain, MN, and Litchfield, MN, into the new facility in summer 2004.

"There were several reasons Greenfield was selected as the new site location, but one of the most important reasons is that we will be able to retain nearly 100% of all of our employees from our current location," says Kurt Moldenhauer, president of the consumer fulfillment division of Archway, the group that will be moving into the new location. "This was a key factor is the selection process for us."Archway, a division of AHL Services Inc., specializes in building consumer and business-to-business relationships. Its services include promotions, direct marketing and trade fulfillment, as well as customer service and information management. They also provide back-end services such as inventory management, and transportation and logistics support. Archway, headquartered in Rogers, MN, is formerly Gage Marketing Services.

Archway was represented by Kurt Knoff, John Ferlita and Brandon Megal of the Minneapolis office of CB Richard Ellis, who are part of the firm's global corporate services team. The team helped Archway "improve their operating efficiencies by consolidating four locations into one," says Knoff, who is a SVP of CBRE.
