Although Nettie L. Waite Middle School, Hutchinson Middle School and Los Alisos Middle School are among the first to see improvements, the entire program is expected to take six years. Financing is coming from Measure S, which pays for school districts to meet health and safety needs.

"Many of our school facilities were built over 50 years ago," says Carri Matsumoto, director of facilities planning for the school district. The company has overseen 300 school projects across the US totaling $1.5 billion.
