Owen is a 19-year veteran of Jones Lang LaSalle, where he oversaw leasing and management of a 200-million-sf portfolio before becoming chief operating officer.

"His real estate experience and corporate management skills will complement our existing in-house expertise," Kincaid says. "He is a seasoned office industry professional who has a track record of empowering his teams to achieve strong performance."

Kincaid served as EOP's chief operating officer for little more than a year, succeeding Michael Steele in October 2001. In that post, Kincaid was instrumental in launching the largest US office REIT's EOPLus, a consolidation of property management offices and functions resulting in significant cost savings.

Likewise, Owen oversaw improvements to Jones Lang LaSalle processes and technology.
