Challenged by budget constraints, Snyder Langston used value engineering to keep the project in line with cost estimates. Plumbing and electrical systems were redesigned, flooring and carpeting were changed along with kitchen designs. Nonetheless, cost of the three-story building came in at $124 per sf.

The unit mix includes 54 one-bedroom apartments of about 550 sf and six two-bedroom apartments of 750 sf. The common areas include two laundry rooms, three lounges and a 1,200-sf multi-purpose building.

"Tyrol Plaza Senior Apartments is a milestone project for Snyder Langston and it marks our continued expansion in the multi-family residential-construction sector," says Snyder Langston president Stephen Jones.
