Bombay will open the first set of doors at the beginning of next year in space previously leased to the Rice Epicurean Market at the corner of Rice Boulevard and Kelvin Drive, David K. Meyers of New Quest Properties in Houston, tells GlobeSt.com. He represented the building owners, Alfred L. Friedlander, Joel M. Levy and Larry Levy, trustee, and Cyndee Smith of Shelby Estus Realty Group Inc. in Houston brokered the terms for the tenant.

Other tenants in the 41,000-sf Rice Village lineup are TCBY, Cookie Bouquet, Logan Farms and Wolf Camera. The center's quoted rate is $30 per sf. Within a mile of the center is a 21,000 population with a median household income of $141,000 and 174,000 residents with an average income of $100,000 in a three-mile radius.
