Based at the company's Woodland Hills office, Pourmirza will serve as a vice president for Sperry Van Ness in the San Fernando Valley. He joins four other Sperry brokers at the office, which the company established in the fall of 2002. Thus far this year, Pourmirza--a 16-year veteran of the industry--has completed 16 transactions valued at nearly $30 million. The company says his appointment is part of a national expansion program in which Sperry Van Ness has grown from nine regions to more than 70 regions in approximately two years. David Rich, West Los Angeles-based managing director for Sperry Van Ness, is responsible for the company's growth in the San Fernando Valley.
Sperry Van Ness, based in Irvine, was founded in 1987.
