164,000-SF Lowe's Proposed for Auto Lot

NORWOOD, MA-The Great Island Development Group wants to build a 164,000-sf Lowe's Home Center near the corner of Route 1, Dean Street and Kerry Place. The 12.5-acre parcel is currently being used as a car storage facility.

The property, which is being used as a car storage facility, is currently owned by Joseph Laham and located behind a Walgreen's on a commercial strip. A town representative tells GlobeSt.com that the proposal will require the approval of the town's conservation commission as a portion of the site is designated as conservation land.
