"This project is more than just a drystack and new docks," Delaware Gov. Ruth Ann Minner notes. "This project represents progress, progress that marina users have wanted and deserved for some time."

In addition to the redesigning and reduction of wet slips for environmental purposes, project contractor Kuhn Construction Co. will add a sizable storage facility to accommodate up to 175 boats, as well as 12 rental duplex cottages totaling nearly 11,000 sf. Construction is expected to reach ultimate completion in 2007.
