Phase II of the project will comprise 9,300 sf and is under construction by Asaro Builders. It was designed by Prest Vuksic of Palm Desert, with tenants that have already signed leases including Four Seasons Swimwear, Sun Optics and Kidz Enterprises Inc. Tenant openings for the second phase are scheduled for the first quarter of 2004.
Montez says the new center complements an existing line-up of retailers along El Paseo, which she calls the Rodeo Drive of Palm Desert. The center is owned by El Paseo LLC, with Palm Desert-based Klaff Realty LP as the managing partner.
