"The outstanding workforce we currently have in place, and the strong level of commitment and partnership shown by Wythe County and the Commonwealth were the main factors in leading us to choose Virginia over the competition for this expansion," Wytheville Technologies VP Peter Argue explains.
The expansion will take place at Wytheville's current digs, which sit in the 1,200-acre Wythe County Progress Park at the intersection of I-77 and I-81. Among the bevy of incentives for expanding in the county are a $150,000 Governor's Opportunity Fund grant and $250,000 in Tobacco Region Opportunity Funds from the Virginia Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission.
