Jim Canfield of McCall & Almy represented the tenant in the transaction, while Patricia Simboli of ACS Development Corp. represented her company, which owns the building.
The group, known as Mass General Imaging Chelsea, signed an eight-year lease for the space at the Harbour Pointe East building. ACS Development relocated a number of the existing tenants to provide the necessary space for the new imaging facility. Massachusetts General Hospital operates a 60,000 sf urgent health care center across the street.
The building provides the center with its own main entrance and room for further growth. Mass General Imaging operates another imaging center in Waltham at Mass General West Imaging. The expanded center in Chelsea is scheduled to open shortly.
