CHI is a majority sponsor for Centura Health, which mangers 18 health hospitals. Its hospitals include St. Anthony Central, St. Anthony North, Penrose Hospital, Penrose Community Hospital, St. Thomas More Hospital and St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center. In addition, CHIS is the parent of Mercy Medical Center in Durango.

Lansing Pint is a speculative project developed by DTC/Meridian, owner of Meridian and the Denver Technology Center. The three-story, 82,103-sf building at 11045 E. Lansing Circle, is just south of the E-470 toll road and east of Interstate 25. The building was designed by Denver-based Barber Architecture and constructed by the Weitz Co.

CHI employees will be adjacent to the Jack Nicklaus-designed, 18-hole Meridian Golf Course and near the Meridian Village Center with restaurants, banking, fitness and daycare.

"We are thrilled to welcome Catholic Health Initiatives to Meridian," says Peter Culshaw, president of DTC/Meridian.

"Meridian is now home to four of Colorado's five largest companies," he adds. "CHI is a wonderful addition to this sterling list. Meridian was conceived as the home for Colorado's leading companies, CHI moving here further validates that vision."

The move is not only good for Meridian, but for the metro Denver economy, Culshaw, notes, as it will create almost 200 new jobs during the next two years.

CHI's National Information Technology Center is expected to open early next year.

Nationally, CHI is comprised of 68 hospital and 49 other health-related facilities in 19 states.
