In his position with Alliance's management staff, Cunningham will identify and evaluate national investment opportunities, conduct negotiations and coordinate property and market due diligence, among other duties.
Cunningham previously served as vice president of Camden Property Trust, where he was responsible for more than $200 million in multifamily transactions in the western United States. At Camden, he also oversaw strategic management of the firm's office and retail holdings. He has also served as an acquisitions officer for United Dominion Realty Trust, where he was responsible for more than $100 million worth of acquisitions and developments involving multifamily properties in the Southwest.
A licensed real estate broker in both Arizona and Nevada, Cunningham has also served on the board of directors for the Agua Caliente Business Park Association. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona, where he holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in regional development.
