Superior Products Corp. of Arizona purchased 400 E. Ray Rd. at the intersection with Arizona Avenue in Chandler because it abuts its existing holding, Craig Dayton with Dayton Co. Industrial Real Estate of Chandler tells GlobeSt.com. The buyer plans to hold the property for investment.
Dayton said seller Redman Homes Inc., a subsidiary of Champion Homes Inc., put the property on the market about three months ago after building a new facility at the Lone Butte Industrial Park south of Chandler. Several other prospective buyers were interested in the site, which was originally marketed at $1.9 million, Dayton says, but Superior Products came in with the best offer.
Dayton assisted Binswanger/CBB, a Philadelphia-based real estate firm, in negotiating the deal for the seller. The buyer was self represented.
