The sales price was undisclosed, but sources indicate it was in excess of $2.1 million. Steven Hogberg, a VP at Tustin-based Coreland, says the seller was Kensington Diamond Bar LLC. The property, at the intersection of South Diamond Bar Boulevard and Golden Springs Drive, is part of the Diamond Bar Village Center that Kensington acquired in April of this year. Hogberg and Matt Hammond of Coreland Cos. represented the seller, with the buyer represented by Stephanie Liang of Century 21 E-N Realty.

According to Hogberg, the transaction was the second part of a four-phase Kensington strategy to stabilize the Diamond Bar Village Center and create added value. The first phase was the recently completed renovation of the entire property, which included landscaping upgrades, new siding, a new sign program, painting and other cosmetic touches. Now what remains is to sell a 30,000-sf portion of the retail center and re-tenant and hold the remaining 60,000 sf of retail. Coreland's Hammond will continue as leasing agent for the remaining 90,000 sf of retail space at the property, while Karen Jones in Coreland's Corona office is handling the property and construction management.
