The lease, due to expire in 2012, is held on a passing rent of £230,000 ($384,100) per annum, equivalent to £12.50 ($20.90) per sf. RBoS also paid HSE an undisclosed reverse premium to cement the deal.
Refurbishment of the offices is to follow and when completed, Stile Harold Williams and Nelson Bakewell, will be marketing around 4,000 sf of surplus office space. Stiles Harold Williams and DTZ acted jointly for RboS, while the HSE was represented by Drivers Jonas.
