HDG Mansur Investment Services financed its purchase with a $9.9-million loan from PB Realty Services, according to property records.
Under the nearly four years of ownership by a Lombard-based limited partnership, the 24-year-old Thorndale Corporate Center underwent renovations this year and in 2001 to suit US Cellular's needs for an operations and data center. The property, which is located on 6.7 acres northwest of Route 83 and Thorndale Avenue, is now considered a class A office asset.
A CB Richard Ellis team that included William Novelli Jr., Mark Hellwig and Kevin Rogers brokered the deal.
