Phoenix-based JAZ Elevator selected the 5611 S. 24th St. property in Phoenix because it was close to its current 5,000-sf location at 3401 E. Weir St., Rich Sica, with Daum Commercial Real Estate Services tells GlobeSt.com. The move helped the firm more than double the size of its operation, he says.

The company, which rehabs existing elevator cabs, recently moved into the property at Southern Avenue and 24th Street, which was on the market about six months. The new owner immediately made some minor renovations to the warehouse and office areas before taking over the site, Sica says.

Sica represented JAZ Elevator in the transaction. The seller, John Lee Wade of Honolulu was assisted in the sale by Eric Jones with Commercial Properties in Tempe.
