"Our new office will continue the investment and expansion program we've laid out," according to Jonathan B. Schultz, the firm's president and CEO. "While conscious of being very selective and prudent in our growth plans, we also understand that by being a contrarian to market trends, we are positioning ourselves to gain market share as the economy begins to recover."

The new office is being managed by senior managing directors Douglas Gaffney and John Friedland. The former, who recently joined Schultz, specializes in the office market and has repped such clients as American Express, Cigna, Key Bank and Baxter International. Friedland, an industrial specialist, was most recently SVP at SBWE Inc.
