The move is part of Prestige's strategy to expand into key European markets to supplement the five existing sales offices in North America. Hospitality professional Anne Biging has joined the Prestige as managing director for Germany.
Biging has 20 years experience in the tourism industry, including establishing the first government-appointed office for the Western Australian Tourism Commission in Germany. As a former journalist, Biging has published numerous articles and travel guides. She also has managed tourism representation for Arizona, New Mexico and Pennsylvania in Germany.
"It is my intention to strengthen the Prestige brand in Germany while providing planners with our leading edge services," Biging says.
