The existing facility will be primarily utilized by the former LiquiSource Inc., a maker of prescription generic liquid pharmaceuticals, which Able Labs acquired just last month. Able's existing operations at 6 Hollywood Ct. here will be moved to a new leased facility in Cranbury, NJ.
"We have invested more than $6 million in plant and facility improvements at the South Plainfield location," according to Jay Wadekar, president and CEO of Able Labs. "With the acquisition of our current manufacturing facility and our new leased facility in Cranbury, we will have more than 275,000 sf of manufacturing space for our potential future growth."
