Senior vice president George Sowa and director of marketing Kathleen Sweeney were responsible for the transaction for the Plymouth Meeting, PA-based Brandywine Realty Trust, which has its New Jersey offices here. The tenant was represented by Jon Sarkisian of CB Richard Ellis, along with Mohr Partners of Dallas. Neither the terms of the lease nor cost of constructing the building were disclosed.

"We're delighted to have broken ground for this new building," Sowa says. "We are especially pleased to welcome MedQuist to our tenant roster in Southern New Jersey."

MedQuist is a provider of medical transcription and health information management services. The company provides a variety of services through interfacing with healthcare providers' computer systems and currently serves more than 3,000 healthcare organizations.

The new building at 1000 Bishops Gate Dr., which will feature a two-story atrium, has access to I-295, according to Sowa. Brandywine is targeting June, 2004 for occupancy. When the building is completed, MedQuist will relocate its world headquarters there from the company's existing Marlton, NJ location.

With the move, MedQuist will join a Bishops Gate Corporate Center tenant roster that includes Cendant, Comcast, Okidata and NFL Films.
