State Sells Detroit Office Building

DETROIT-The state of Michigan has sold its 620,000-sf Michigan Executive Plaza Building in Detroit for $12.5 million. The buyer is a Michigan real estate company, Boji Group.

Boji is a Michigan real estate and property management company with an office in Lansing and in the metro area in West Bloomfield Township. The sale closed on Dec. 12.

According to the state, Boji is planning on using the building for office space or lodging. The state adds the other bidder on the project was Trenton, MI-based Danou Enterprises Inc., which made a bid of $6.3 to $13.9 million, contingent on a variety of factors.
