Chicago-based GVA says the new entity, called GVA AsiaPac, will provide a range of real estate services to American and European companies in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo and other parts of Asia. In addition, AsiaPac will provide tenant rep project management services in support of GVA's existing offices in India, China and elsewhere in Asia.
GVA AsiaPac is led by president and CEO Patrick Moultrup, who has more than 25 years of international experience working with Fortune 100 companies seeking to expand their global operations. Moultrup has a background in architecture, construction management and international real estate, having built two international real estate businesses, one of which was selected by Forbes Magazine in 2001 as the "best-run real estate business in the world." The services offered by GVA AsiaPac include site selection, property management, workplace design and local project management. The company is staffed by former principals of Fortune 100 companies, real estate firms, and major design and construction firms.
Moultrup says GVA AsiaPac will provide clients with "a single point of accountability" and offer "tenant-based turnkey solution" service, an approach allowing corporate clients to focus on their business-related priorities. GVA AsiaPac's founders work with international clients including Palm Inc. of Milpitas, a pioneer in mobile and wireless Internet solutions and a leading provider of handheld computers; the Harlan Corp., a Kansas City-based manufacturer of tractors and other industrial equipment; and Witness Systems of Atlanta, a global provider of software and services.
GVA is an international organization of real estate industry firms in key markets in 27 countries. The organization comprises almost 3,600 real estate professionals serving approximately 100 markets. In its last report, GVA partners collectively completed $12 billion in transactions and managed more than 110 million sf of office, industrial, retail and specialized property.
