Robert Lattimer, an international business consultant and managing partner of locally based Lattimer Group Inc., is ANDP's income chairman, moving up from the vice chairman's position. Lattimer has been a board member for seven years. Raymond Christman, president and CEO of the Federal Home Loan Bank in Atlanta who joined the ANDP board in 2000, will be vice chairman.
Lattimer and Christman will coordinate ANDP's efforts to distribute the $58 million that was not spent during the term of former Atlanta Mayor Bill Campbell. ANDP is also eligible to apply for a share of the $17 billion federal tax incentives program set up by President George W. Bush and his administration. The President's Renewal Community program replaced the Empowerment Zone established by the administration of former President Bill Clinton.
