George and Adriana Zele purchased the Wilshire Place apartments at 6721 N. 25th Dr. from Anna F.T. Al-Said, a private investor from Los Angeles, David Fogler with Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial tells GlobeSt.com. "They sold a building in the same general area so they knew the submarket and viewed it as a good opportunity," Fogler says of the new owners.
The complex, located near 25th and Glendale avenues, features a mix of unit sizes along with a pool, laundry facilities. It traded for a per-unit cost of $38,000. Fogler and Steve Nicoluzakis, also with Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial, represented both buyer and seller in the transaction.
