KinetX, an engineering, technology, and business-consulting firm, inked the five-year renewal with property owner, Broadway 101 Office Park Inc., for 3,376 sf of office space in the Broadway 101 Office Park, allowing the company to keep its 2141 E. Broadway Rd. address near the Loops 101 and 202 freeways in Tempe. The firm will pay about $350,000 in rent over the term of the lease.
KinetX develops technology solutions and engineering support for numerous clients including Aerojet, Ball Aerospace, Boeing, General Dynamics, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Lockheed Martin, Loral Space Systems, Motorola, Northrop Grumman, Orbital Sciences, Spectrum Astro and TRW.
Rick Collins, with Ross Brown Partners, who negotiated the transaction for the tenant, tells GlobeSt.com that the lease put the occupancy rate at 85% for the 81,279-sf office park, developed by Denali National Trust Inc. Dave Seeger of Trammell Crow Co.'s Phoenix office represented the building owner in the negotiations.
