In the Lake Elsinore transaction, according to Donald MacLellan and Nicholas Coo of Faris Lee, Mission Trail Plaza LLC bought the 67,807-sf center at 31952 Mission Trail from MTSC-Lake Elsinore Partners. MacLellan and Coo represented the buyer, with Rich Walter of Faris Lee representing the seller. The deal was unusual because the retail center was not officially on the market, says Walter, who is president of Faris Lee.
In the Aliso Viejo transaction, Foxwood Properties LLC acquired a 36,721-sf, single-tenant building in the Aliso Viejo Town Center from G&L Realty Partnership LP for $2.8 million in a 1031 exchange. Jeff Conover and Rich Walter of Faris Lee represented the seller of the building, which is at 26771 Aliso Creek Road, with the buyer represented by Howard & Mills. The sale closed at a 6.3% cap rate.
