Golden's real estate is scattered throughout the South in shelling plants, cold-storage warehouses and plants that crush peanut hulls for use in animal feed and industrial absorbents, according to local brokers. Golden also has a facility in Argentina and is a major supplier of peanut seed to farmers in this country.
