The plastics recycler is Baltazar & Rosa Mejia, which bought a 77,080-sf building at 3040 N. Locust Ave. from a private individual. The buyer was represented by Gary Hauso of NAI Capital Commercial and the seller by Mancha Realtors. The buyers will be relocating the plastics recycling business from Riverside. Their new plant is a freestanding, concrete tilt-up building with mezzanine office space that occupies five acres.
In the Fullerton transaction, Innovative Healthcare Management Inc. has signed a 10-year lease valued at nearly $2.8 million for 9,645 sf of medical space at 2240 N. Harbor Blvd. at a property owned by DDR Properties LLC. The landlord was represented by John Bosko, Robert Brandt and Bob Bush of NAI Capital Commercial. Innovative Healthcare will be expanding and will use the space in the new building for a surgical center. Occupancy is scheduled for summer 2004. The two-story, 23,400-sf medical building, which is in the final stages of construction, is located near the St. Jude Medical Center.
