Mary Lane with Coldwell Banker Commercial in Phoenix tells GlobeSt.com that the office, medical and retail condo complex has drawn the interest of several tenants, including a chiropractor and a bank. Three other letters of intent are presently awaiting signatures, she says.

To give the area an architectural symmetry, the complex, the first in Arizona for developer Banfield Properties Ltd. of Eugene, OR, is designed to reflect the architectural style of the Gilbert Library, which sits across the street, and the Greenfield Medical Center on the northeast corner, a portion of which is also owned by Barfield Properties. Completion of the project is scheduled for the fourth quarter.

The shell-space condos will lease for about $21 per sf triple net for the retail portion, which abuts Greenfield Road, and about $19 triple net for office space in the complex's office and medical buildings. For sale condos are priced at $170 per sf for retail and $160 per sf for office, says Lane, who serves as leasing and sales agent for the complex along with Dr. Rick Ridberg with the Upland Group in Tempe.
