Mobilia Designs in Wood began looking for new quarters in June, when the company hired The Staubach Co. managing principal Len Caldeira and associate Dougal Jeppe. Ed Wabick and Greg Wright of Paine/Wetzel Associates represented Prater Industries, which sold the property at 1515 S. 55th Ct.
Mobilia Designs in Wood's location on Cicero Avenue is in an area that has seen retail redevelopment. The town of 80,000 on Chicago's western border boasts a 95% commercial property occupancy rate.
