Brandon Home Furnishings moved its only Valley store to 27,300 sf of flex space at 7400 E. Tierra Buena Lane in under a five-year, $1.4-million arrangement with building owner, Guardian Life Insurance Co. Rick Collins, with Ross Brown Partners, tells GlobeSt.com that the furniture firm opted to move from a location at 83rd Way on the southeast side of the airpark in order to get better visibility on the northwest side, which is closer to Scottsdale Road.

"Now, it will be easier for their customers to find them," Collins says of the move, which places the home furnishing wholesaler just one-eighth of a mile from the Scottsdale Road intersection. The home furnishing store is the sole tenant in the 66,057-sf building, managed by the Hewson Co. Collins represented the tenant in the transaction while MarkLinsalata and Craig Coppola of Lee & Associates Arizona bargained for the building owner. The firm, which has 23 stores nationwide, sells a unique array of furniture, exotic rugs, lighting, paintings, mirrors, sculptures, artifacts, silks, foliage and bedding.
