The investor acquired a nine-unit complex at 2567 Orange Ave. in Costa Mesa for $2.1 million, says Steven Brombal of the Newport Beach office of Hendricks & Partners, who brokered the deal. The seller was Orange Street Triplexes Ltd. of Laguna Hills. In the second of the deals, also brokered by Brombal, private individuals from Huntington Beach bought the 14-unit Velare Apartments at 641 S. Velare St. in Anaheim from JJM Velare LLC of Irvine for nearly $2 million. The third sale was a $1.6 million transaction in Laguna Beach, where Poor Artist Co. LLC of Westminster bought a five-unit complex at 220 Cliff Drive from The Olson Trust of Seal Beach in a deal brokered by Brombal.
