The complex is a 1950's style garden apartment development of 14 buildings on more than 5.5 acres, which Ratkovich Co. President Wayne Ratkovich describes as much more like single-family homes than traditional apartment units. The complex has its own private drive and consists of one-, two-, and three-story buildings amid a landscaped park-like setting with a newly renovated pool and patio area. The average unit is a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment of 1,847 sf. Ratkovich plans to upgrade the property's plumbing and electrical systems and renovate the exteriors of the buildings, with the Pasadena-based architectural firm of Gonzales/Goodale to perform the design.

The Los Angeles-based Ratkovich Co. develops new projects and redevelopments as well. The company has completed, or has under development more than 13 million sf of office, retail and industrial properties.
