In the larger deal, Asset Management Consultants of Costa Mesa bought the University Technology Center from Glenborough Realty Trust of San Mateo in a transaction brokered by Kevin Shannon, Mike Moore and Scott Schumacher of Grubb & Ellis South Bay office and Jim Wynne and Amy McNamara of the firms San Gabriel Valley office. The Grubb & Ellis brokers represented the buyer and the seller of the two-building, concrete tilt-up complex, which is at 3179-3191 Temple Ave. and was 83% leased at the time of sale.
In the Newport Beach transaction, a local accountant bought an office building at 430 32nd St. from WMC Investments LLC. Roger Niez, Dave Bueche, and Eric Bissar of Sperry Van Ness represented the seller, with Tony Shaw of Seaside Realty & Financial Service representing the buyer.
