Bank One Plans More Detroit Area Locations

DETROIT-Bank One will open six more locations in southeast Michigan this year. It also will invest close to $2 million in renovating existing branches.

The branches will cost between $1 million and $2 million each. The bank says each location would have from eight to 10 people on the payroll.

Bank One also said that in 2004 it will invest close to $2 million to reconfigure, redecorate and renovate its existing branches in the Detroit area. Bank One currently has about 200 branches located across the state of Michigan.
