Osbrink, who formerly headed transaction services for the western region of Grubb & Ellis, will continue to be based in Newport Beach. His promotion consolidates the eastern and western regions of the transaction services division and is part of a group of changes in the executive ranks by Northbrook, IL-based Grubb & Ellis.
Osbrink joined Grubb & Ellis in 1988 as SVP and sales manager of the Newport Beach office. In 1996, he was promoted to regional managing director of Grubb & Ellis' five Los Angeles County offices, and four years later he became regional managing director of the southwest region, spanning Southern California, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico. He took over management responsibilities for the western region in 2003.
Osbrink's promotion was part of a corporate realignment in which Maureen Ehrenberg was named president of global client services at Grubb & Ellis' headquarters, in addition to her post as president of Grubb & Ellis management services. Dick Fulton, who has run the eastern region of the transaction services division since August 2002, will resume his position as chairman of Grubb & Ellis Centennial Inc., one of the company's affiliates.
