WRT will relocate its headquarters into more than 27,000 sf in the 841,000-sf building this summer. WRT is currently at 1515 Market St. and will take approximately 115 employees to the new location. It is a national architectural, landscape architectural, and planning and design firm with offices in five other US locations.

Beginning this spring, the Convention & Visitors Bureau will relocate approximately 65 employees from 260 South Broad St. to more than 17,000 sf at 1700 Market. The bureau is the primary marketing and sales organization for the city and the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

These leases take the property to 95% occupancy. Terms of the new leases are undisclosed, but the asking price in the building is $22 per sf. Equity Office's Todd Monahan negotiated for the owner in both transactions. Tim Monahan of the local office of Studley represented WRT in the negotiations; Mitch Marcus and George Kaufman of the Downtown office of CB Richard Ellis represented the Convention & Visitors Bureau.
