Aeroturbine principals Nick Finazzo and Bob Nichols recently purchased the note on the property from John Hancock Life Insurance Co. The facility previously was owned and occupied by Medrano Holdings Inc. It is located at 2323 N.W. 82nd Ave. in the Airport West submarket.
Aeroturbine is involved in the sale of aircraft engines and components, as well as mature aircraft sales and leasing. The company plans to occupy the building and consolidate its operations at that site.
Broker Ernesto Casal of Alliance Companies Inc. represented Aeroturbine in the transaction. "Aeroturbine acquired a prime location at a great value," according to Robert Cambó, president of Alliance Cos. "Supply in the Airport West market continues to tighten.
