Two new projects near Fairview Southdale Hospital have softened the market among on campus buildings, says Stephen Brown, a United broker who specializes in the medical office market. "It should take some time to absorb," he says.
Some developers are buying office buildings and converting them to medical office. One example is Equity Holdings, which bought the Centennial Lakes office complex in Edina and converted it to a medical office building, Brown says.
