The financing carries an interest rate of approximately 6.75% for a five-year term with a 20-year amortization schedule, according to Krawiecki. National Retail Systems, a North Bergen, NJ-based logistics supplier, currently occupies the masonry and steel building where it maintains truck terminal operations.
National Retail Systems operates worldwide with a fleet of more than 1,100 trucks and 4,300 trailers. Its revenues in 2002 were $93 million.
Houston-based Melody has offices in more than 30 metro markets and has arranged $16 billion in commercial real estate transactions over the past 24 months. Its parent company is CB Richard Ellis, which is headquartered in Los Angeles and operates five offices in Greater Philadelphia.
