LGE Design/Build paid about $3.1 million for the land at the northwest corner of 90th and Bahai streets in the same area where the firm already has built six other buildings, Robert Kling with Lee & Associates Phoenix office tells GlobeSt.com. "That's the biggest priced industrial land in the Valley and there isn't much left to buy," says Kling, who orchestrated the deal for LGE.
Kling says the company plans to construct a 34,000-sf building on the property for an undisclosed client along with a second build-to-suit office project of about 10,000 sf. A third building, expected to range from 10,000 sf to 13,000 sf, will be a speculative office or warehouse property, he says. The three projects are scheduled to get underway within three to six months. Seller William Schuckeet, a broker with Edge Real Estate Services in Scottsdale, handled the transaction for himself.
