The buyer was the Wick Cos. LLC, a locally based developer and owner of industrial properties. Terms of the transaction, including the sale price, were not disclosed, but industry sources say the property likely traded for a price tag in the range of $5 million to $6 million.
The existing building is situated on a 27-acre site on a major local thoroughfare. With the excess acreage, the existing building is expandable by another 250,000 to 300,000 sf, according to Lou Belfer.
"The facility met all of Wick Cos.' investment requirements," according to Belfer.
