Michael Kassinger and Cameron Hall of Sperry Van Ness report that the property, which occupies more than 3.5 acres just south of the Downtown area at 1050 E. Palm Canyon Drive, features 22 suites and one two bedroom (1,800 sf) house with room rates ranging from $130 to $300 per night. Originally built in 1955, the property was designed by architect William Cody.Kassinger and Hall represented the seller, with Jamie Rook of Windermere Real Estate representing the buyer.

Kassinger notes that the hotel benefits from proximity to recent development in Palm Springs, including the Palm Springs Spa Hotel & Casino's recent $90 million addition. The casino addition has helped to boost visitor traffic to Palm Springs, along with other recent improvements in the Downtown area, he points out.
