Although terms were not revealed, published asking net lease rates at the 35-story building, between the Chicago River and Tribune Tower, start at $17 per sf. Tenant improvements also are included in the deal with MTV.
MTV's Midwest regional sales office has been at 401 N. Michigan Ave. since 1992.
Cal Wessman and Jeff Liljeberg of CB Richard Ellis represented MTV in negotiations with Zeller Realty's Ari Glass.
