Schenker USA Relocates with 15,000 SF Lease

WOBURN, MA-Schenker USA, a Freeport, NY-based company that provides integrated logistics services, is leasing 15,266 sf at 20 Commerce Way. The deal represents a relocation of the company's regional facility.

Lease rates for this deal were not available, but the average asking rent for office space in the city is approximately $19 per sf. According to Trammell Crow Co.'s most recent statistics, Woburn's office market has an overall availability rate of 23%, a figure that is only slightly lower than the city's rate in January when it was up to 24%. The city experienced a positive absorption rate for its office space of 55,000 sf as of this past April.
